Louisville, K.Y. –Junior Margaret Connelly (Chicago, IL) represented the Brown University Cross Country team today at the NCAA Championship at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park. Connelly finished in 130th place out of a field of 253 athletes that qualified for the meet. She completed the course in 20:59 averaging 5:36 per mile.
Connelly placed seventh at the NCAA Northeast Regional meet last week to earn a bid to the national competition by blazing through 6k in 20:11. As a sophomore, Connelly finished 16th at the Regional meet in cross country.
Former Brown runner, Dan Lowry '12 finished in 125th for Michigan on the men's side.
With the season coming to a close, Brown's program will take a few weeks break before kicking off the track season by hosting the Alden Invitational on December 1st.
