Providence, RI - Brown junior Sarah Glick (Bonita, CA) scored nine goals, picked up six steals and handed out nine assists in three games during the Northern Division Championship hosted at Connecticut College this weekend to earn the CWPA's Northern Division Player of the Week award. The No. 19 ranked Bears went 3-1 with wins against Utica, Connecticut College and Harvard, but fell to Hartwick.
Glick tallied three goals in a 16-4 win over Connecticut College, chipped in another three as Brown rallied to knock off Harvard University 8-7 in overtime and led the team in a 4-3 victory over Utica College to advance to the division title game and an automatic bid to the Eastern Championship field.
Against the Crimson, Glick competed a hat-trick with 26 second left in regulation to knot the game at 7-7 for her fourth game-tying goal of the season and to force overtime. Against the No. 15-ranked Hartwick College in the title tilt, she pumped in another three goals against the Hawks in Brown's 11-7 deficit.
