Bakersfield, CA - Led by a stingy defense and a solid offensive effort, the Brown women's water polo team got back on track after picking up two runs at the Roadrunner Invitational at Bakersfield. The Bears posted a 12-6 win over Cal State San Bernardino, followed by an 11-4 victory against Concordia University.

Junior Stephanie Laing (Ann Arbor, MI) was stellar in the cage during the first three quarters picking up 12 saves. She gave way to rookie Misa Scharfen (Santa Rosa, CA) with a 9-3 lead, who picked up two saves in her eight minutes in the net.

Both squads scored three goals in the fourth quarter to complete the scoring, as Brown picked up the win, 12-6.
