Water Polo Falls To #6 Cal Berkley 18-8

Berkley, CA - The Bears had their work cut out for them taking on the sixth team in the nation and fell to Cal Berkley 18-8 this afternoon. Sophomore Anne Deggelman saw pressure for most of the afternoon and tallied five blocks in goal including a four meter penalty shot.

Juniors Karlyanna Kopra and Paige Lansing led the way each tallying two goals in the loss. Kopra also drew an ejection and dished out two assists for Brown. Rounding out the scoring for the Bears was juniors Claire Angyal, Elizabeth Balassone and Caitlin Fahey and sophomore Ally Wyatt who each recorded a goal. Balassone also drew five ejections in the match-up.

The Bears will return to action Tuesday March 28 when they face a double header taking on Sonoma State at 11:30 a.m. and follow up with a 2:15 p.m. match-up with Pacific.
