Women’s Water Polo Receives ACWPC All-Academic Honors

Providence, RI- The Brown University women's water polo team placed nine student-athletes on the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-Academic Team, as the Bears ranked seventh overall as a team with a combined grade point average of a 3.270.

Providence, RI- Senior two-meter Joanna Wohlmuth and freshman attacker Kate Woods each earned ACWPC (Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches) Honorable Mention All-American honors.

Felix Mercado Announces Water Polo Class of 2015
Providence, RI- Head Men’s & Women’s Water Polo Coach Felix Mercado has announced the addition of eight newcomers (three men and five women) to the 2011-12 men’s and women’s water polo teams next year. Joining the men’s squad will be Henry Fox (Mercer Island, WA), Nick Deaver (Orinda, CA) and Andrew Brown (LaGrange, IL), while Evan Cranston (Palo Alto, CA), Liz Rosen (San Anselmo, CA), Becca Zak (Carlsbad, CA), Madison Pepper (Bayton, TX), and Chloe Kempf (Laguna Hills, CA) will be additions to the women’s roster.

Genai Kerr Joins Brown University Water Polo Staff
Providence, RI- Head Water Polo Coach Felix Mercado has announced the addition of Genai Kerr to his men's and women's water polo staff. Kerr, a 2000 graduate of the University of California at Irvine and a two-time All-American goalkeeper, will serve as Mercado's assistant coach.
