WHITTIER, Calif. – Senior Emily McNamara (Winters, Calif.) notched one of her team-best three goals with 12 seconds left in the first overtime to lift the Brown women's water polo team to a 9-8 victory over Whittier at Slades Aquatic Center on Thursday. In their second overtime decision in three games, the Bears improve to 12-11 overall and become winners of eight of their last 11 contests.
McNamara drew six ejections to go with her hat trick while senior Kate Woods (La Jolla, Calif.) scored twice, nabbed four steals and handed out two assists.
