Brown Women's Water Polo Announces Class of 2017

PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND – Felix Mercado, the head coach of the Brown women's water polo team, has announced the three members of the Class of 2017 who will be joining the Bears in the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center in the fall of 2013. The group includes two attackers and a center defender, and the student-athletes all hail from the state of California.

"I feel that with this group of three outstanding student-athletes we are able to not only replace the three departing seniors, but also add weapons to put us in a position to continue to compete at a high level," said Mercado. "They all bring tons of experience at some of the best club teams in the country. They will fit right in"
