2013: An Honorable Mention ACWPC All-American selection… Earned CWPA Southern Division first team honors for the third consecutive year…Also named to the CWPA Eastern Championships All-Tournament team...A spring Academic All-Ivy honoree…Ranked second on the team in scoring with 59 goals,  scoring a season-high five goals in two separate games…Led the team with 71 assists…Led the team with a career-high 93 steals, while also ranking third with 39 ejections drawn...Earned an Outstanding All-Academic award from the ACWPC.

2012:
Tallied 68 goals on 120 attempts, converting at a 56 percent clip…Tied her career-high goal mark with seven against 12th ranked Indiana…Was tied for second on the team in assists with 39 and was also second on the team in steals with 57…Led the team in field blocks with 17…Also earned 30 exclusions…Earned the title of 2012 CWPA Southern Division Player of the Year and recieved 2012 CWPA All-East team honors…Also named CWPA Southern Division Player of the Week on February 21, marking the eighth time in her career that she received a weekly award from the CWPA…A member of the 2012 ACWPC All-Academic team.

2011:  Recorded one of the most successful freshman campaigns in Brown history…Tied the Brown single season scoring record with 100 goals, also setting the single season freshman scoring record…Had a six goal outing against Redlands and a career-high seven goals against Cal State Bakersfield…Also led the team in assists with 26…Tallied five field blocks, which ranked second on the team…Registered 19 ejections drawn and 19 steals…Earned 2011 ACWPC All-American honorable mention…Named 2011 CWPA Southern Division Rookie of the Year and earned a spot on the 2011 CWPA All-South first team and the 2011 CWPA All-East team…Received CWPA Southern Division Player of the Week honors twice, and was recognized as the CWPA Southern Division Rookie of the Week five times…Also named to the 2011 ACWPC All-Academic team.

Before Brown:
Named to the All-League team for three seasons and the CIF second team in 2009-2010...Selected as the San Diego Union Tribune Water Polo Student-Athlete of the year in 2010, as well as the La Jolla High School Female Student-Athlete of the Year...Named team MVP for three consecutive seasons after she led her team to three CIF Semi-Finals in a row...Also played for the La Jolla Water Polo Club team.

Personal:
Kate is the daughter of Ann and John and has one brother, Tyler…She is a Community Health concentrator and her spirit animal is a slow loris.
