Lewisburg, PA- The Brown women's water polo team finished in sixth place after falling 14-10 to Wagner in the final day of the ECAC Championships hosted at Bucknell this weekend.
The Bears got off to a slow start this afternoon as Wagner jumped out to a 2-1 lead after the first quarter and went on to outscore Brown 4-2 in the second to gain a 6-3 lead heading into halftime.
Wagner stayed hot in the third and tallied four goals to Brown's two to extend its lead to 10-5, but the Bears made a late run in the fourth quarter with five goals, but it just wasn't. Wagner posted four goals in the fourth to earn the 14-10 win.
The Bears are back in action on March 12 when the squad heads to Hartwick to challenge both Utica and Hartwick.
