Brown University senior volleyball player Jessie Cooper (Tustin, CA) has been honored not only for her work on the court, but now for her work in the classroom as well. Cooper a public and private sector organizations concentrator has received Fall Academic All-Ivy honors, being named to the Academic All-Ivy team.
Cooper was also named First Team All-Ivy. She recorded 323 kills on the year, making her career total 1,151. She is now second all time in Brown history behind Tomo Nakanishi ('00) who has 1,716.
Cooper also recorded 101 blocks throughout the 2002 season upping her career total to 363, she beat out her own records in both season and career blocks. She is second all time in career blocks and is fifth all time in blocks in a single season with 101 this season.
