Saturday, the Bears will take on Columbia at 4:00pm, while on Sunday, Brown will take on Syracuse.
The Friday and Saturday matches will be key for the Bears, as the team looks to return to the top of the Ivy standings. Cornell enters tonight's match at 13-5 overall and 5-1 in the Ivy League. More importantly, the Big Red have sole possession of first place in the League, but Brown looks to change that come Friday night.
On Saturday afternoon, the Bears will look to break a third place Ivy League tie with Columbia, a team currently maintaining a record of 12-9 and 4-2.
The third and final match of the weekend is scheduled for Sunday October, 28 at 12:00pm against Syracuse. This non-league match should also be exciting, as Syracuse enters the match at 11-9 overall and 2-5 in the Big East.
Coach Diane Short and her team have worked tremendously hard in practice this week, focusing on the team's overall defensive efforts, specifically blocking.
With many parents in the stands for Brown's Parent's Weekend, the team should post some impressive numbers and move, both, above the .500 mark, and higher in the Ivy League.
