Providence, RI - Senior setter Leigh Martin (Freelton, ONT) was named Ivy League Player of the Week for her double-double performance in Brown's 3-2 victory over Dartmouth and 3-1 win over Harvard this past weekend. Martin finished the weekend with 126 assists for an average of 14 assists per game, and spread the attacks out evenly, as four Brown hitters collected double digit kills as Brown went on to outhit its opponents by 70 percent.
Martin was also a force on defense in both matches, recording 13 digs in each. With 3,918 total assists in her career, Martin only needs 109 to become Brown's all-time leader for assists in a career.
