HANOVER, NH - The Brown volleyball team dropped an Ivy League contest at Dartmouth on Saturday afternoon, falling in three games. Individual game scores were 23-30, 28-30, 18-30.
Freshman Rikki Baldwin (Magnolia, TX) led the offense with 11 kills, while also adding one solo block. Freshmen Liz Cvitan (Malibu, CA) and Jessica Kondrick (San Diego, CA) also contributed to Brown's blocking game with four and three blocks respectively, including three solo blocks for each of them.
Defensively, the Bears had several players reach double-digit digs, with senior Kim Highlund (Newark, CA) leading the way with 16. Sophomore Leigh Martin (Freelton, ONT) added 15, junior Elvina Kung (Dix Hills, NY) added 12, and freshman Victoria Kasten (Norwalk, OH) pitched in 11 digs.
The Bears will look to rebound next weekend at home when they host Columbia and Cornell on Friday and Saturday, before finishing out the season at home against Yale on Wednesday, November 19.
