Two Assistants Added to Track & Field/Cross Country Staff

Providence, RI - Paul Harkins and Meaghan Gregory are the newest additions to the Men's and Women's Track & Field/Cross Country staff. As assistant coaches, both Harkins and Gregory are responsible for the distance and middle distance runners.
Harkins received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Washington in 2000, and went on to obtain a Masters of Science in Health Promotion and Wellness Management at Missouri State University.
While attending Washington, Harkins was a four-year letterwinner on the Track and Field team and was also the captain of the cross country team. He was a three-time qualifier for Track and Field Pacific-10 Conference Championships. At Missouri State, Harkins was a graduate assistant for both the men's and women's Track and Field and Cross Country teams.
Gregory joins Brown University after attending Columbia University where she was a four-year letterwinner and a two-year captain on the track and field team. During her time with the Lions she received first team All-Ivy recognition three times.
After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Anthropology in 2002, she went on to become the head cross country and track and field coach in the Cohoes City School District in Cohoes, New York. She also spent some time as the Compliance Officer and assistant track and field coach at the College of Saint Rose.
