Ariel Wright

2006-2007: One of the Bears' top athletes who emerged as a top freshmen in the Ivy League. Debuted her Cross Country season at the Heptagonal Championships, placing 30th overall. Went on to earn NCAA All-Region honors after finishing 21st at the NCAA Regional meet. Won the 5000m at the Giegengack Invitational, posting a personal best of 16:59.74 (5th All-Time). Placed 6th at Indoor Heps in the 3000m, again running to a new PR with a 9:39.87 (7th All-time). High School: Personal Bests- 18:04 (5000m), 17:15 (3 mile), 10:40 (3200m), 4:57 (1600m). Wright was the 2004 California state champion in cross country; she placed fifth in the 1600m at the 2005 state meet, and sixth in the 3200m at the 2006 state meet.
