After conquering the challenges of collegiate running, Emma has gotten her feet under her and has been steadily improving since then as a varsity runner on the team. This year Emma will bring consistency and a smile to the varsity squad in cross-country as well as on the track hoping to improve upon her PR of 18:04 in the 5k. A neuroscience concentrator here at Brown, Sarro conducted research in an embryology lab at the Carnegie Institution in Baltimore, Maryland in the summer of 2003 and spent this past summer doing a research project at Brown that her professor says can be published. Her post-collegiate intentions are to pursue a graduate degree in an area of biological sciences.
