Matanock has enjoyed success on Brown's XC and TF teams, setting a big PR last year in XC. She is also is the number two ranked steeplechase runner all-time for Brown. Almea intends to apply to med school. This past summer she worked for a hospital program that focused on improving the health of diabetic women.
