Lynch has had a steady stream of success her first three years of college and now will lead the team as co-captain with Kelly Powell. As a sophomore, she won the indoor Ivy League Championship and placed second outdoors by only 2.25 inches with a PR of 46'4". She followed that up with a second-place finish in 2004 and a PR of 46'11". In addition to her success in the shot, Jill also placed second in the discus in 2004. Her hometown is Racine, Wisconsin where her mother, father and stepmother reside.
