Hatch returns for her junior year with a solid summer base she owes to the encouragement her host-grandfather gave her while spending the summer in Japan. She is eager to crush her current personal bests of 18:41 in the 5K (cross country), 4:37 in the 1500, and 2:16 in the 800, and contribute to what she hopes will be three winning seasons for Brown. Annie envisions teaching in Japan and pursuing a career in education reform and policy in the US.
