Outdoor Track & Field Preview: Middle Distance and Disance

After several great individual performances during the indoor season, the middle-distance and distance squads are more motivated than ever to perform well this outdoor season.

Outdoor Track & Field Preview: Jumps
The Brown jumps squad is starting 2010 strong with their new jumps coach Kendra Reimer, who joined the Bears during their indoor season. “I was extremely pleased with how we did during the indoor season, but I’m even more excited for greater things to come in outdoors,” said Reimer. “I feel like we are just getting started.”

Brown Sprinters Set for Outdoor Season
The future for Brown University’s sprint squad is bright. With just two graduating seniors, the team is working incredibly hard to fulfill its potential during this outdoor season.

Throws Gear up for Outdoor Season
Led by coach Michelle Eisenreich, who earned the title of NCAA East Regional Assistant Coach of the Year, 2009 was one of the most successful seasons the Brown throws group has ever seen. Not only did the squad dominate the Heptagonal Championships by scoring 34 points in the men’s events and 44 in the women’s events, our throwers also earned several All-Ivy honors, All-East Region honors and one All-American honor. Many of these athletes return this year and will drive the team to higher levels of success.
