Harrington, Mann Lead Brown Track & Field at Larry Ellis Invite

PRINCETON, N.J. – Sophomore Lily Harrington (West Hartford, Conn.) and junior Jordan Mann (St. Louis, Mo.) both posted personal-best times as the Brown men's and women's track & field team sent a select group to the Larry Ellis Invitational on Friday on the campus of Princeton University. 

Harrington took 12th overall in the 5,000 meters, crossing the finish line in a time of 16:35.68, marking a personal-best time and the fifth all-time best mark in program history. 

For the men, Mann took 17th overall in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:03.41, also recording the fifth-best mark in program history.

Freshman Lucy Van Kleunen (Philadelphia, Pa.) won the third section of the 1,500 meters and finished 15th overall with a time of 4:32.43. Back on the men's side, senior Kyler Evitt (Somerville, Mass.) took 35th in the 5,000 meters with a time of 14:38.32.

The Bears return to action on Saturday, April 19 when they compete at the Yale mark Young Invitational.
