Before Brown: A graduate of Toll Gate High School where she competed in cross-country, track and field, and soccer…Three-time captain in track and field…Named Second Team All-State in 2009 (4x800m relay)…Earned multiple All-Class honors in the 600m, 4x400m, and 4x800m…Named Most Outstanding Freshman for both Indoor and Outdoor track (2009-10)…Cross country captain in 2012 and winner of the team’s most dedicated award in 2011… Class Salutatorian and AP Scholar with Distinction…Winner of the US Air Force Math and Sciences Award, Civic Leadership Secretary of State Award, and Hispanic Studies Award…Winner of two gold keys in the 2013 Scholastic Art and Writing Competition.
