2012-13: Finished second in the steeplechase at the Brown Springtime Open…Placed second in the 3000m at the Brown Invitational … Competed at the All-New England Cross Country Championships.

At Brown: Represented Brown as a member of the 2010 and 2011 Cross Country Heps and regional teams.

Before Brown: Won the 2010 New Jersey State Sectional and placed second in the NJ State Group Two Championships in the 3200m.

Personal: Kat is the daughter of Thomas and Alicia Grimes ... She has one brother, James.
