Bears Turn in Great Performances at NCAA Championship
Fayetteville, AR – Sophomore Brynn Smith (Saco, ME), senior Bryan Powlen (Kewanna, IN) and sophomore Craig Kinsley (Fairfield, CT) have done an outstanding job competing at the 2009 Outdoor Track & Field NCAA Championship this week. Smith and Powlen finished ranking in the top 20 in the Nation, as Kinsley is still alive in the tournament and will be competing in the javelin finals tonight at 7:30 p.m.

Track & Field Prepares for NCAA Tournament
Three Brown University track & field athletes traveled to the University of Arkansas’ John McDonnell Field on Sunday afternoon to compete in the 2009 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships from Wednesday-Saturday, June 10-13. Representing the Brown women’s track & field squad is sophomore Brynn Smith (Saco, ME), who will be competing in the hammer throw, as sophomore Craig Kinsley (Fairfield, CT) and senior Bryan Powlen (Kewanna, IN) represent the Brown men’s team. Kinsley is competing in the javelin throw and Powlen in the discus.
