Bears Fall to #63 Penn, 5-2

PROVIDENCE, RI - The Brown women's tennis team (9-7, 0-3) dropped a 5-2 decision to #63 Penn on Saturday afternoon at the Pizzitola Center courts. The Bears won the doubles point with wins at #2 and #3, but could post just one victory in the six singles matches as the Quakers were able to post the win. Sophomore Tanja Vucetic (Aventura, FL) earned the lone singles win for Brown with a three-set victory at #4 singles. The Bears also went three sets at #1 and #2 singles, winning the first set in both matches. However, Penn won the next two sets en route to the win.
