Bears Earn Third Straight 7-0 Win

PROVIDENCE, RI - The Brown women's tennis team (8-2) won its fourth straight match and third straight by a 7-0 score, defeating UMass (6-6) on Tuesday afternoon at the Pizzitola Center Courts. The Bears were nearly perfect on the day, winning all six singles matches in straight sets after claiming a 1-0 lead by virtue of earning the doubles point. Brown's lone loss against the Minutewomen came at #2 doubles, but wins at #1 and #3 gave the Bears the early lead heading into singles action.
