Weymouth, MA - The Brown women's tennis team (3-1) suffered its first loss of the season, falling to Boston College, 5-2, at the Weymouth Athletic Club on Thursday evening. The Bears were led by sophomore Bianca Aboubakare (Orange, CA), who combined with her younger sister, Carissa Aboubakare (Orange, CA) to post an 8-7 (5) win at #1 doubles for Brown's lone doubles victory. She also picked up a win at the #1 singles position, defeating the 69th-ranked player in the country, for one of the Bears' two singles wins.
Brown continues action next weekend when it travels to Dartmouth to take part in the ECAC Team Tournament, Friday-Sunday.
