Kerry Meath had the best overall record on the team in her freshman year, with a 23-5 singles, and 20-8 doubles record. Her powerful serve and dominant forehand create problems for her opponents, as she creates openings with these weapons. In the fall of 2002, Kerry and her doubles partner, Alex Arlak, finished the ITA Eastern Regionals as doubles quarter finalists; their fall record on the doubles court together was 8-1. In the fall of 2003, Kerry finished the season with a 4-5 singles mark and a 3-6 doubles record. In her last year of junior competition, Kerry ranked #117 Nationally and #2 in the Northern Section in the Girl's 18's. She competed on the Fed Cup for her section and was the 2000 finalist in the Minnesota State Championship. That year the Northern Section honored her by selecting her for the Junior Sportsmanship Award. She also receieved the Sportsmanship Award for 16 and 18 Zonals. In high school she played #1, and was selected MVP four times, earning All-Conference for five years. Kerry has made a strong impact on the Brown squad, and is a player who will contribute in both the singles and doubles lineups.
