Hard-hitting sophomore Anita Ivancevic brings world-class talent and a relentless competitive spirit back to the Brown tennis team for the 2005-2006 season. She was integral in clinching wins last spring over such teams as Virginia Tech, Santa Barbara, and Yale, and exited the season with a team-best 11-7 record. In juniors, she was ranked as high as #6 in the nation in the 14s, before traveling worldwide on the professional circuit. Injury kept her out of most of the Fall 2005 season, but she is expected to return in the spring as an integral part of the Bears lineup.

Getting to know Anita Ivancevic:

Concentration: Political Science

The best thing about Brown is: EVERYTHING! I love Brown... period, end of story! The people are awesome... the classes and professors are interesting and there is a good balance of playing and studying.

The one thing I miss about living at home is: My mom and dad's cooking. And of course, being spoiled by them.

When I'm not playing tennis I'm: Either studying, working out or hanging out with friends

When I was a kid I thought I would grow up to be: a doctor.
