Caroline Casey grew up in New England in the state of Vermont and finished her junior tennis career ranked #11 in New England and #1 in Vermont. She received New England's USTA "Most Improved Award" for the Girl's 18's, winning the New England Open Championship and New England Clay Court Championship in her first year of the Girl's 18's. At the Holderness School, where she played #1 singles, she was a three-time high school MVP, continuing the tradition in her freshman year at Brown, when she was voted MVP by her peers. In her sophomore and junior years, Caroline continued working on her game, adding consistency and poise. At the end of 2002, she posted the third-best overall record on the team with a 17-11 singles and 18-9 doubles record. In her final year of competition, Caroline adds the title of co-captain to her resume, as she will play an important leadership role in her senior year.
