
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Dartmouth Big Green claimed 5-of-6 singles matches en route to a 5-2 victory over the Brown women's tennis team on Sunday at the Brown Varsity Tennis Courts. The Bears drop to 13-9 overall and 2-4 in Ivy League play with the loss while Dartmouth improves to 7-9 (3-3 Ivy).
The duos of Hannah Camhi/Dayna Lord and Ashley Noyes/Ammu Mandalap secured the doubles point for the Bears with wins of 8-7 (4) and 8-3, respectively. Trailing 1-0 after doubles play, the Big Green responded with wins in the top-five singles matches, including Katherine Yau's 6-3, 6-1 triumph over Lord in the top slot.
Noyes grabbed Brown's lone singles win of the day, a 7-6 (1), 3-6, 1-0 decision over Dartmouth's Julienne Keong.
The Bears will close out its season with a road contest at Yale on Saturday beginning at 12 p.m.
