Women’s Tennis Falls to #37 Yale, 6-1

PROVIDENCE, RI – The Brown women's tennis team (7-13, 1-6) dropped a 6-1 decision to #37 Yale in its 2013 season finale on Saturday afternoon at the Erickson Athletic Complex. The Bears #1 doubles team of senior Misia Krasowski (Deerfield, IL) and freshman Hannah Camhi (Syosset, NY) earned an 8-3 win at #1 doubles to improve to 6-1 in Ivy League play, while posting their 22nd win as a doubles team to set a new Brown record for doubles wins in a season by a pairing. For the season, the duo posted a 22-9 record. 

Brown's singles win came at #6, where freshman Olivia Hsu (Santa Rosa, CA) earned a 6-3, 6-2 win over Yale's Sarah Guzick.

The match marked the final career contest for Krasowski. She finishes her career ranked second all-time at Brown with 152 combined wins, second all-time at Brown with 77 career doubles wins, and fourth all-time at Brown with 75 career singles wins.
