#45 Bears Fall to #63 Dartmouth, 4-3, in Battle of Ivy League Unbeatens

HANOVER, NH - In a match up of the Ivy League's two undefeated teams, the 63rd-ranked Dartmouth women's tennis team overcame a 3-1 deficit to defeat 45th-ranked Brown (15-7, 4-1), 4-3, on Friday at the Boss Tennis Center.

Brown swept the doubles point to take the early, 1-0 lead, but Dartmouth tied the match at 1-1 with a win at #3 singles. After sophomore Misia Krasowski (Deerfield, IL) claimed a win at #1, 7-6, 6-2 to put Brown up, 2-1, freshman Jessica Harrow (Los Angeles, CA) gave Brown a 3-1 lead with a 6-1, 3-6, 7-5 win at #4 singles.

Dartmouth closed the lead to 3-2 with a win at #5 singles, winning two sets after falling in the first, 7-5, and then another three-set win at #2 singles tied the score at 3-3, setting up the clinching point at the #6 position.

Brown returns to Providence to host Harvard on Sunday at 12:00 noon.
