Three Bears Compete at NCAA Zones

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Senior Amy Latinen (Fenton, MI), freshman CJ Kambe (Unionville, CT) and sophomore William Kai Robinson (Vashon, WA) represented Brown at the 2007 NCAA Zone A Diving Championship, held March 2-3 at Rutgers University.

On day one, Kambe and Robinson finished in 19th and 21st, respectively, in the Men's 1-Meter with Kambe scoring a 247.10 and Robinson earning a 244.80. On the women's side, Latinen scored a 222.15 on the Women's 3-Meter to earn 19th place. Both Kambe and Latinen narrowly missed the finals as the top 18 scores were taken for the finals.

On day two, Robinson took 14th in the Men's 3-Meter prelims to earn a spot in the finals, where he finished in 17th. Kambe earned 22nd place in the prelims. On the women's side, Latinen finished in 24th in the women's 1-Meter.
