Brown Swimmers Fall to Harvard

The Brown University Women's Swimming team hosted Harvard University in a 170-130 loss in the Smith Swim Center. Junior Jean Lee (Valrico, CA) finished first in both the 1000 yard free and the 500 yard free.

Brown also took first in the 200 yard medley as juniors Lindsay Hoban (Duxbury, MA) and Liz Daniels (Pittsburgh, PA) and seniors Inbal Hasbani (Wilmette, IL) and Laura Mosca (Charlottesville, VA) finished with a time of 1:47.19. The Bears swept the 100 yard backstroke where Daniels took first, Hoban grabbed second and sophomore Jessica Brown (Royalston, MA) swam her way to third.

Daniels also placed first in the 50 yard free as junior Emily McCoy (Anchorage, AK) splashed her way to first in the 100 yard freestyle. The relay team of Daniels, Hasbani, freshman Michelle Oeser (Eliot, ME), and Ali Will (Mequon, WI) recorded a first place time of 3:31.57 in the 400 yard freestyle relay.

Diving for the Bears was freshman Jessie Larson who dove her way to second place on the one meter with a score of 257.25. She received the same score on the three meter board for a third place finish.
