PROVIDENCE, RI - The Brown women's swimming and diving team (1-1, 1-1) fell to visiting Harvard (2-0, 1-0), 190-107, on Friday afternoon at the Smith Swim Center. The Crimson won 14 of 16 events en route to the victory as they remain undefeated on the season.

Brown took third in the opening event, as the team of senior Emily Brush (Duxbury, MA), junior Ally Wyatt (Ypsilanti, MI), senior Meredith Cocco (Lafayette Hill, PA), and freshman Susannah Ford (Cambridge, MA) swam a time of 1:50.32 in the 200 Medley Relay.

Junior Dillon Delaney (West Barnstable, MA) led Brown in the 1000 Free, finishing in third with a time of 10:22.48, while senior Becky Kowalsky (Ft. Myers, FL) earned a time of 1:56.53 in the 200 Free to finish in second place. Brush took second in the 100 Back with a time of 1:00.19, while senior Ashley Wallace (Chatham, NJ) earned second in the 200 Fly with a time of 2:08.01. Cocco was also in the top three in that event, grabbing third with a time of 2:10.41.

Sophomore Sarah Goodman (Philadelphia, PA) won Brown's first event of the day, taking first in the 50 Free with a time of 25.15.

In a break from swimming action, senior Dana Meadow (Chicago, IL) led the Bears in the 1-Meter dive, scoring a 255.22, good for third place.

Kowalsky was Brown's top finisher in the 100 Free, placing in fourth with a time of 54.64, while Brush took second in the 200 Back with a time of 2:09.72. Freshman Bailey Langner (Martinez, CA) earned a time of 2:25.99 in the 200 Breast, good for third place, while sophomore Ainsley McFadgen (Glace Bay, NS) was fourth in the 500 Free with a time of 5:12.32. Cocco and Wallace took second (59.83) and third (59.91), respectively, in the 100 Fly, leading Brown in that event.

In the 3-Meter dive, sophomore Jessica Williams (McLean, VA) took second to lead Brown, scoring a 240.97. Meadow also placed in the top three with a score of 240.00, good for third.

In the final individual event of the day, Langner finished in second place in the 200 IM, swimming a time of 2:13.19. Senior Lauren Harlow (Andover, MA) grabbed third with a time of 2:14.46.

Brown's 400 Free Relay team of Brush, Wallace, senior Julia Lippe-Klein (Palo Alto, CA), and senior Lindsay McKenna (Voorheesville, NY) swam a time of 3:53.77 to win the final event of the day for Brown.

The Bears will look to rebound next Saturday when they travel to Dartmouth to face the Big Green at 11:00 a.m.
