Bears Finish in 6th at 2008 Ivy Championships

PRINCETON, NJ - The Brown women's swimming and diving team finished the season with a sixth place finish at the 2008 Ivy League Swimming and Diving Championships with a total of 643 points. Princeton won the meet in its home pool with 1651.5 points, while Harvard was in second with 1494 points. Columbia (1016), Yale (986), Penn (959.5), Dartmouth (624), and Cornell (381) rounded out the field.
Brown opened the final day with a 12th place finish in the 1650 free, as senior Dillon Delaney (West Barnstable, MA) swam a time of 17:17.16. Freshman Katherine Wargo (Killingworth, CT) earned 17th with a time of 17:51.15.
Junior Jessica Williams (McLean, VA) led Brown in the 3-meter dive, scoring a 203.35, good for 22nd.
Brown took seventh in the final event of the day, as the team of Sisouvanvieng-Kim, Goodman, freshman Stephanie Pollard (Victoria, BC), and sophomore Susannah Ford (Cambridge, MA) earned a time of 3:31.38 in the 400 free relay.
