PRINCETON, NJ - The Brown women's swimming & diving team completed its season on Saturday with a sixth place (811 points) finish at the 2007 Ivy League Swimming & Diving Championships. Princeton won the Championship with 1496 points, while Harvard came in second with 1408.5 points. Yale (1122), Penn (1073), and Columbia (925) rounded out the top five finishes, while Dartmouth (634) and Cornell (339.5) finished in 7th and 8th.
The day started with junior Dillon Delaney (West Barnstable, MA) taking 10th in the 1650 free with a time of 17:08.77. Senior Emily Brush (Duxbury, MA) led the Bears in the 200 back, taking 13th with a time of 2:06.17, while sophomore Sarah Goodman (Philadelphia, PA) was Brown's top finisher in the 100 free, posting a time of 52.89.
Freshman Baily Langner (Martinez, CA) swam a time of 2:19.91 to lead Brown in the 200 breast (9th).
Brown placed two swimmers in the top eight in the 200 fly, as seniors Becky Kowalsky (Fort Myers, FL) and Ashley Wallace (Chatham, NJ) placed 7th and 8th with times of 2:04.97 and 2:05.50, respectively.
The Bears closed out the meet with a seventh place finish in the 400 free relay as the team of Kowalsky, senior Kathleyn Brandstetter (Riverside, CT), Goodman, and Brush swam a time of 3:30.15.
