NEW HAVEN, CT - The Brown women's swimming & diving team suffered a 188.5-111.5 loss to Yale on Saturday afternoon. Two individuals won events for the Bears, while the 400 free relay team won the final event of the day.

Brown's 200 medley relay team of senior Kathleyn Brandstetter (Riverside, CT), junior Aly Wyatt (Ypsilanti, MI), junior Lauren Zatorski (Winnetka, IL), and sophomore Sarah Goodman (Philadelphia, PA) came in second with a time of 1:48.89 to start the meet.

Sophomore Ainsley McFadgen (Glace Bay, NS) grabbed second in the 1000 free with a time of 10:25.19, while junior Dillon Delaney (West Barnstable, MA) was third with a time of 10:35.10. Senior Becky Kowalsky (Ft. Myers, FL) placed second in the 200 free with a time of 1;55.85, while senior Emily Brush (Duxbury, MA) was Brown's top finisher in the 100 back, placing third with a time of 59.50.

Freshman Bailey Langner (Martinez, CA) was Brown's top swimmer in the 100 breast, clocking in at 1:08.18, good for third. Senior Ashley Wallace (Chatham, NJ) picked up Brown's first win on the day with a time of 2:08.89 in the 200 fly, while senior Meredith Cocco (Lafayette Hill, PA) came in second with a time of 2:09.12. Freshman Susannah Ford (Cambridge, MA) led Brown in the 50 free, placing fourth with a time of 25.71.

In a break from swimming action, senior Amy Latinen (Fenton, MI) picked up Brown's second win, scoring a 255.66 in the 1-meter dive.

Kowalsky led the Bears in the 100 free, swimming to a third place finish with a time of 54.11, while Brush led Brown in the 200 back, clocking in at 2:09.50, good for fourth. Langner took third in her second event, the 200 breast, with a time of 2:25.05, while McFadgen earned second for the second time on they day, swimming a time of 5:09.29 in the 500 free. Cocco led Brown in the 100 fly, placing second with a time of 59.88, while senior Sarah Demers (Andover, MA) was third with a time of 1:00.40.

Latinen then claimed second on the 3-meter dive, scoring a 267.52, while senior Dana Meadow (Chicago, IL) was third with a score of 250.12.

Brush led Brown in the final individual event of the afternoon, grabbing third in the 200 IM with a time of 2:12.78. Brown's 400 free relay team of Kowalsky, Brandstetter, Goodman, and Ford closed out the meet with a time of 3:37.87 to win the event.
