2012-2013:
Scored in the 100 fly (12th), the 200 fly (15th) and the 500 free (24th) at the Ivy League Championship meet…Swam the butterfly leg in the 400 medley relay, helping the Bears to a fifth place finish and a school record…Finished the season ranked in the top 25 all-time at Brown in the 500 free (11th – 4:57.31), the 100 fly (5th – 55.32) and the 200 fly (5th – 2:02.25)…Recipient of the team's Dave Roach Coaches Award…Earned her third varsity letter.

2011-2012:
 Scored in the 200 fly (14th) and the 100 fly (19th) at the Ivy League Championship meet...Also swam the butterfly leg on the 400 medley relay, helping the Bears finish fifth with a Brown University school record...Her times in the fly events rank her eighth all-time at Brown in the 100 (56.44) and 12th all-time in the 200 (2:04.25)...Earned her second varsity letter. 

2010-11
: Scored at the Ivy League Championship meet in the 100 fly and 200 fly , finishing in 16th place in both events...Earned her varsity letter.

Before Brown:
Graduated as the salutatorian of her class at Alma High School…Was a member of the National Honor Society and also earned the National Scholar Athlete Award…Earned four varsity letters in both swimming and soccer at Alma High School…Served as captain of the swim team during her junior and senior seasons…Won the Division 3 state title in the 100 fly in 2007 and 2008 before capturing the title in 500 free in 2009…A three-time All-State selection…Earned a spot on the Lansing/State Journal’s Dream Team for four consecutive seasons…Named the Alma High School Athlete of the Year as a junior and senior…Named Outstanding Swimmer in 2007 and 2009…Selected as the team MVP in 2008…Also competed for Alma Swim Club.

Leigh Holmes is the daughter of Virginia and Charles Holmes of Alma, Michigan…She has an older brother, CJ, an older sister, Chelsea, and a twin brother, Nathaniel, who attends the College of William and Mary…Enjoys reading, drawing, knitting and traveling…Concentrating in Visual Arts.
