PROVIDENCE, R.I. –The College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has announced the Scholar All America Team and Individual Awards for the 2010-2011 academic year. Both the men's and women's squads earned distinctions while freshman standout Briana Borgolini received an honorable mention nod in the individual awards.

Team Scholar All America Award
The Team Scholar All American award is presented to college and university swimming and diving teams, who have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The award is presented to teams achieving this standard in the fall semester and in the semester of the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships (Winter/Spring).
Scholar All America Award
The College Swimming Coaches Association of America presents the Scholar All American award to college and university swimmers and divers who have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and have qualified for their respective national championship, as well as the Honorable Mention Scholar All American award to college and university swimmers and divers who have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and have achieved a "B" time standard in their respective national championship.
The College Swimming Coaches Association is the oldest coaches organization in America. In addition to Scholar All American Awards, the CSCAA recognizes All American Swimmers and Divers at the national championships every year.
