Squashers Earn Post-Season Honors and Awards

Providence, RI - At the final action of the squash season, senior Lillian Rosenthal (Weston, MA) secured a place in the quarterfinals of the Women's Individual Intercollegiate Championships at Dartmouth, earning First Team All-American honors along the way.

Rosenthal had defeated fellow All-American in a marathon 1 hour 30 minute match in the round of 16. Lillian lost in the quarters to the eventual Intercollegiate Champion Michelle Quibell from Yale.

An American Civilization concentrator at Brown, Rosenthal also earned first team All-Ivy honors as voted by the eight Ancient Eight head coaches, and was an Academic All-Ivy selection.

In addition, teammates Jennifer Neff '06 and Julie Flygare '05 received the Scholar Athlete Award from the College Squash Association, awarded to varsity players with a 3.5 GPA.
