Bears Win 5-4 Thriller Over Williams

Providence, RI - The Brown women's squash team pulled out an exciting 5-4 win against the visiting Williams team at the Pizzitola this Friday.

The final match came to Zarah Rahman at #5 with the scores level at 4-4 in the match and 2-2 in Zarah's match. This was Zarah's first match this season after studying abroad in India last fall, and her rustiness was evident in the first game but she fought hard and came through to secure the win with great tenacity.

The sophomores Megan Cerullo and Minoo Fadaifard also had great matches but fell short in 5. At # 3 Freshman Charlotte Steel showed great composure to run out a comfortable 3-0 win.

The team are now looking forward to a great match with Cornell on Sunday at 11am at the Pizzitola.
