Providence, R.I. - Brown women's squash posted a 7-2 win over Amherst Friday evening with the Bears winning the first six matches to cruise to the victory. Junior Quincy Beck paced the Bears at number one with a 3-0 victory.
At number two, Freshman Hannah Seckendorf battled to a 3-1 victory, while senior Hannah Hay-Smith gained a 3-0 win at number three.
Freshman Isabel Young came through with a 3-0 victory at number four, freshman Scarlett Bergam took a 3-0 decision at number five and sophomore Katrina Northrop gained a 3-0 win at number six. The Bears also had a win at number eight, with sophomore Hannah Safford taking a 3-0 decision.
Coach Stuart leGassick's women's team will have a midweek matchup at Williams on Tuesday, January 24.
