# 10 Bears Toppled By #1 Princeton, 8-1


Princeton, New Jersey - The 10th-ranked Brown women’s squash team put up a strong fight against three-time defending Howe Cup champion and top-ranked Princeton Saturday afternoon, before falling to the Tigers, 8-1.


Sophomore Leila Driansky played well for the Bears, earning Brown's lone win over the Tigers with a 3-0 victory over Eliza Kontulis at number nine.


Senior tri-captain Laura Pyne played number one for the Bears, dropping a 3-0 decision, while sophomore Nikoo Fadaifard fell 3-0 at number two. Freshman Sarah Crosky fell at number three, 9-6, 9-6, 9-3. At number four, junior Sophie Scherl captured the first game before falling 3-1.


The Bears will face Penn on Sunday in their final competition of the semester.
