Omokaro Named Ivy League Pitcher of the Week

Sophomore pitcher/third baseman Uchenna Omokaro (Hercules, CA) was named the Ivy League Pitcher of the Week for the week of Mar. 18. Omokaro picked up her first win of the season with a seven strikeout shutout over Drexel, Brown's first win of the season. Omokaro pitched a complete game and allowed just two hits and walked none. In three appearances this season, she boasts a 0.45 ERA and has 17 strikeouts to lead the Bears.
