Bears Advance To Championship Game After 6-4 Win Over UMBC In Semi-Final

Baltimore, MD - Senior Mary Seid led the way for the Bears going 2-3 with a homerun, brining in three runners and crossing the plate twice, in Brown's 6-4 win over UMBC in the semi-final game of the UMBC Tournament.

Behind Seid was freshman Kaitlyn Laabs who also went 2-3 with a RBI. Junior Liz Anderson and sophomore Linnea Anderson each finished 2-4 in the win. Freshman Kristen Schindler recorded the win on the mound going 6 2/3 innings.

Brown will take on Niagara at 3:00 p.m. in the Championship game of the UMBC Tournament.
