Kerri Jacklets enters her second year as the assistant softball coach at Brown. Jacklets joined the coaching staff back in October of 2001 and was extremely instrumental in the Bears' turn-around season in 2002. Jacklets' main focus on the field is working with hitters and catchers, while off the field, she is heavily involved with recruiting.

The Sayville, New York native is a 2001 graduate of Providence College, where she earned four varsity letters in softball as a catcher for the Friars, captaining the team in her senior year.

While at Providence, Jacklets earned Big East Conference Academic All-American honors three straight years, and was named Big East Player of the Week on two occasions. As a senior, she was a 2001 NCAA First Team All Northeast Region Player and also earned Providence Athlete of the Week twice.

Jacklets earned a bachelor's degree in social science from Providence College, where she was a member of the Dean's List and Education Honor Society.
