Judith Gallagher, a former assistant softball coach at Bridgewater State College, joins DeeDee Enabenter-Omidiji's staff as an assistant softball coach at Brown University. Gallagher, a stand-out pitcher at Bridgewater from 1992-1994, captained the team during her senior season, and led the Bridgewater Bears to a second place finish at the NCAA Division III National Championships, the best finish in NCAA play by any Bridgewater team. She was a First Team National Softball Coaches Association Northeast Regional All-American, a First Team New England Intercollegiate Softball Coaches Association (NEISCA) All Star, a First Team All-MASCAC selection, and a member of the NCAA Championship All-Tournament Team. She ranks second all-time for winning percentage (.804) as well as earned run average (1.22). Gallagher earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education in 1994 and also received her Master of Education in 1998. Gallagher not only played under Enabenter-Omidiji at Bridgewater State, but she also served as her assistant coach for two seasons, during the 1997 and 1998 seasons. Currently, Gallagher resides in Taunton, MA, and is employed as a kindergarten teacher at the Dighton Elementary School.
