Brown University seniors Jill Mansfield (East Windsor, NJ) and Kathryn Moos (Wayzata, MN) have been both earned 2006 NSCAA All-Region honors, becoming Brown's first All-Region selections since Michaela Sewall '04 earned Second Team honors in 2003. Moos was named to the First Team, while Mansfield picked up Third Team honors.
A unanimous First Team All-Ivy selection, Moos finished the season ranked fifth in the nation in both points per game (2.12) and goals per games (0.88). The Ivy League leading scorer with 36 points, 13 more than the next closest person, Moos also led the Ivy League with 15 goals, six more than the next closest player. A three-time selection to the SoccerBuzz Elite Team of the Week this season, Moos was named Ivy Player of the Week twice this year and to the SoccerTimes Weekly Honor Roll once. Moos has also carved her name into the Brown record books, and will graduate from Brown as the first player since the 1980s to crack Brown's all-time top five in several offensive categories. She ranks 4th in career goals (31), 10th in career assists (14), 6th in career points (76), 3rd (15 in 2006) and 16th (9 in 2003) in season goals, 13th in season assists (6), and 3rd (36 in 2006) and 20th (20 in 2003) in season points.
Mansfield, who was also named First Team All-Ivy, had one of her best years in a Brown uniform, finishing second on the team in points (19), 5th in the Ivy League, goals (6), 5th in the Ivy League, and assists (7), 2nd in the Ivy League. Mansfield was also named a Second Team District I Academic All-American and will leave Brown ranked 6th all-time in career assists (18), 20th all-time in career points (34), and 8th (7 in 2006) in season assists.
